Terms and Conditions – Lavon Notary Services
By using the services of Lavon Notary Services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Service Agreement
- Our notary services are provided in compliance with Texas Notary Laws and regulations.
- We verify the identity of all signers using a valid government-issued photo ID before notarizing any document.
- The signer must be present and willing to sign the document in the notary’s presence.
2. Payment Terms
- Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments(if applicable).
- Fees are based on the type of notarization and travel distance. Additional fees may apply for after-hours, emergency, or multiple-signature
- No refunds will be issued once the notarization is completed.
3. Limitations of Service
- We donot provide legal advice or draft documents. If legal guidance is required, we recommend consulting an attorney.
- We reserve the right to refuse notarization if:
- The document is incomplete or contains blank spaces.
- The signer appears coerced, intoxicated, or mentally incapable of understanding the document.
- Valid identification is not provided.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 2 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
- A cancellation fee of $25 may apply for last-minute cancellations.
5. Privacy & Confidentiality
- All client information and documents are handled with strict confidentiality. We do not retain copies unless legally required.
- We adhere to all applicable privacy laws to ensure the security of your personal data.
6. Liability Disclaimer
- Lavon Notary Services is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or disputes regarding the contents of the documents notarized.
- Our role is solely to verify identity and witness signatures. We are not liable for the legality or accuracy of the documents.
