Terms and Conditions – Lavon Notary Services

By using the services of Lavon Notary Services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Service Agreement

  • Our notary services are provided in compliance with Texas Notary Laws and regulations.
  • We verify the identity of all signers using a valid government-issued photo ID before notarizing any document.
  • The signer must be present and willing to sign the document in the notary’s presence.

2. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments(if applicable).
  • Fees are based on the type of notarization and travel distance. Additional fees may apply for after-hours, emergency, or multiple-signature
  • No refunds will be issued once the notarization is completed.

3. Limitations of Service

  • We donot  provide legal advice or draft documents. If legal guidance is required, we recommend consulting an attorney.
  • We reserve the right to refuse notarization if:
    • The document is incomplete or contains blank spaces.
    • The signer appears coerced, intoxicated, or mentally incapable of understanding the document.
    • Valid identification is not provided.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 2 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
  • A cancellation fee of $25 may apply for last-minute cancellations.

5. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • All client information and documents are handled with strict confidentiality. We do not retain copies unless legally required.
  • We adhere to all applicable privacy laws to ensure the security of your personal data.

6. Liability Disclaimer

  • Lavon Notary Services is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or disputes regarding the contents of the documents notarized.
  • Our role is solely to verify identity and witness signatures. We are not liable for the legality or accuracy of the documents.
